Minestrone
As the weather gets colder, here’s how to make a delicious Minestrone with Kayanoya’s Original Vegetable Stock Powder, bringing out the rich umami flavor of the vegetables.
Ingredients
2-3 servings
- 50 g block of bacon
- 1/2 onion
- 50 g celery
- 2 cabbage leaves
- 1 tomato
- 1 packet of Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder
- 400 ml water
- 1/2 garlic clove
- 2 tsp olive oil
- Black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Heat the olive oil and minced garlic in a pot. Add the bacon, onion, and celery, cut into 0.5 cm cubes, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the roughly chopped tomato and continue cooking until the liquid evaporates. Add the cabbage (cut into 2.5 cm pieces), [A], and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to low heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with black pepper.
